"Agricultural composting" means on farm composting of agricultural waste resulting from the production of farm or agricultural products, including but not limited to, wastes from the raising or growing of plants or animals, manure and animal bedding, and feedstock that contributes to the microbial degradation of organic agricultural wastes and the production of a nuisance-free finished product. Natural materials from land clearing activity are permitted feed stocks. Feed stocks used in agricultural composting shall not include wood pieces or particles containing paint, laminates, bonding agents or chemical preservatives such as creosote, pentachlorophenol, or copper-chrome-arsenate. Agricultural composting feedstock shall also not include construction, remodeling, repair, or demolition wastes. (Added by Amended Ord. 12-040, July 11, 2012, Eff date July 28, 2012).
