In addition to costs and disbursements provided for by statute, the prevailing party in a collection action under this title may, in the court’s discretion, be allowed a reasonable attorney’s fee. The prosecuting attorney shall seek such costs and attorney’s fees on behalf of the county, when the county is the prevailing party. (Amended by Res. adopted July 9, 1973).
