Any employee who is absent from work shall report the reason for the absence to the employing official as soon as possible. Unauthorized or unreported absences shall be treated as absence without pay and may be cause for disciplinary action including dismissal. (Added by Ord. 84-129 § 2, Nov. 21, 1984).
