"Stockyard" means any place, establishment, or facility consisting of pens or other enclosures and their appurtenances for the temporary keeping of livestock, in which livestock services such as feeding, watering, weighing, sorting, receiving, shipping, and preparation for slaughter are offered to the public. Stockyards shall not include public livestock auction facilities, feedlots, or quarantine registered feedlots. (Added by Amended Ord. 15-057, Sept. 2, 2015, Eff date Sept. 18, 2015).
