"Hazardous waste storage" means the holding of hazardous waste for a temporary period. Any manner of management of hazardous waste constituting disposal or abandonment is not considered storage for a temporary period. Any hazardous waste stored for a temporary period shall be scheduled for future treatment and disposal within a reasonable time period as regulated by chapter 173-303 WAC as now written or hereafter amended. Accumulation of hazardous waste by a generator on the site of generation is not storage as long as the generator complies with the applicable requirements of chapter 173-303 WAC as now written or hereafter amended.
