(1) Supervise and administer the activities of the department subject to the delegation of authority and supervision vested in the executive, including the development of administrative policies and procedures;

(2) Advise the executive and the council with respect to programs and activities managed by the department and matters affecting the economic vitality of the county; and

(3) Exercise all the other powers and perform all other duties prescribed by ordinance with respect to the administration of the department. (Added by Ord. 22-025, Aug. 17, 2022, Eff date Jan. 1, 2023).
