The amendatory act is enacted as an emergency amendment to SCC 7.56.030. It is necessary to insure a smooth transition in the coroner function in Snohomish county and to clearly delineate the lines of authority for that function. This act is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, and safety of the public. (Amended by Ord. 80-002 § 2, May 1, 1980).
