The elections cumulative reserve fund is established to accumulate monies collected by the county auditor’s office for conducting elections, maintaining voter registration files, and producing a local voters’ pamphlet. These monies represent a portion of the billings that is intended to recapture the cost of conducting elections, maintaining voter registration files and producing a local voters’ pamphlet by the county auditor. The money in this fund will be used for the acquisition of, or construction or improvements to, real property necessary to conduct elections, or to purchase equipment, hardware, durable supplies and software used by the county auditor’s office for elections, voter registration and local voters’ pamphlet operations.
