The fund created by this chapter shall be used only for the education and training of arson investigators employed by any fire district within Snohomish county, pursuant to the interlocal agreements between Snohomish county and the districts, and in accordance with criteria to be established by the county fire marshal, or for the purchase of equipment necessary to carry out assigned arson investigation.
