The tax herein levied shall be effective on the 1st day of January, 1980, and shall be collected by the state department of revenue and distributed to Snohomish county pursuant to applicable rules and regulations of said department of revenue. (Added by Res. 79-335 § 1, Nov. 5, 1979).
