The Snohomish County Treasurer or his or her designee shall administer the Snohomish County investment trust fund within the financial management system provided for in chapter 2.100 SCC, and shall serve as the fund manager. The fund manager shall have the duties set out in SCC 4.05.050. Special purpose taxing district funds in the Snohomish County investment trust fund shall be invested in the Snohomish County investment pool as directed by the special purpose taxing district owning such funds. County funds in the Snohomish County investment trust fund shall be invested in the Snohomish County investment pool at times and in amounts as directed by the director of finance or his or her designee.
