"Water-oriented" means any combination of water-dependent, water-related, and water-enjoyment uses. Nonwater-oriented serves to describe those uses which have little or no relationship to the shoreline. Examples of nonwater-oriented uses include professional office, automobile sales or repair shops, mini storage facilities, multifamily residential development, department stores, and gas stations.

This definition applies only to "Shoreline" regulations in chapters 30.44 and 30.67 SCC. (Added by Amended Ord. 12-025, June 6, 2012, Eff date July 27, 2012).
