"Watercourse" means any portion of a channel, bed, bank, or bottom within the ordinary high water mark of waters of the state. This definition does not include irrigation ditches, canals, stormwater runoff devices, or other entirely artificial watercourses, except where they exist in a natural watercourse which has been altered by humans.

This definition applies only to "Shoreline" regulations in chapters 30.44 and 30.67 SCC. (Added by Amended Ord. 12-025, June 6, 2012, Eff date July 27, 2012).
