"Utilities" means any machinery, equipment and their attending facilities that service a structure such as elevators and their associated equipment, furnaces, hot water heaters, heat pumps, and air conditioners in an attached garage or enclosure or on an open utility platform that provides utility services for the building. Attending facilities include conduits, duct work, and above ground electrical services.

This definition only applies to the "Flood Hazard" regulations in chapters 30.43C, 30.43D and 30.65 SCC. (Added by Amended Ord. 05-068, Sept. 7, 2005, Eff date Sept. 24, 2005).
