"Retirement apartments" mean dwelling units exclusively designed for and occupied by senior citizen residents 62 years of age or older in accordance with the requirements of state and/or federal programs for senior citizen housing. There is no minimum age requirement for the spouse of a resident who is 62 years of age or older. (Added by Amended Ord. 02-064, Dec. 9, 2002, Eff date Feb. 1, 2003).
