"Retail, general" means a structure built or occupied for use to sell merchandise indoors to the general public for personal or household consumption and rendering services incidental to the sale of such merchandise. Examples include department, drug, grocery, hardware, second hand, specialty, and tire stores, tool sales and rental, pet shops, home improvement centers, retail bakeries, locksmith, or other similar activities not specifically listed in chapter 30.22 SCC. Banks, offices, restaurants, brewpubs and taverns located in multi-tenant retail structures are included within this term. (Added by Amended Ord. 16-013, Mar. 8, 2017, Eff date May 7, 2017).
