"Level of service, park and recreation" is the existing size or number of parks and recreation facilities in each community divided by the size or number of facilities which should be located in the community based on state survey data, as stated in the comprehensive park and recreation plan. The level of service has been calculated for each of 31 park and recreation activities by community, by region, and on a countywide basis.

This definition applies only to "Park and recreation facility impact mitigation" regulations in chapter 30.66A SCC (Added by Amended Ord. 02-064, Dec. 9, 2002, Eff date Feb. 1, 2003).
