"Bollard" means a rigid post, permanent or removable, used as a traffic control device to limit vehicle access. Bollards are usually installed in a line with sufficient space between them to allow permitted access, such as bicycles and pedestrians, but not motor vehicles. Removable bollards are used when access may be required for special-purpose vehicles but not general traffic. (Added by Amended Ord. 07-022, Apr. 23, 2007, Eff date June 4, 2007).
