(1) To implement the goals of the Shoreline Management Act (SMA) (chapter 90.58 RCW) and the state Department of Ecology’s implementing guidelines (chapter 173-26 WAC); and

(2) To provide a uniform basis for applying Snohomish County Shoreline Management Program (SMP) policies and development regulations within distinctive shoreline areas. (Added by Amended Ord. 12-025, June 6, 2012, Eff date July 27, 2012).
