(1) Developers and property owners shall immediately stop work and notify the county, the state office of archaeology and historic preservation and affected Indian tribes if archaeological resources are uncovered during excavation.

(2) Permits issued in areas documented to contain archaeological resources shall require a site inspection or evaluation by a professional archaeologist in coordination with affected Indian tribes. (Added by Amended Ord. 12-025, June 6, 2012, Eff date July 27, 2012).
