The 2018 edition of the International Residential Code (IRC), herein referred to as the "residential code," published by the International Code Council, as amended by the Washington State Building Code Council, which includes Appendices F, Q, and U, and included in chapter 19.27 RCW except chapter 1, and as otherwise expressly amended by this chapter and chapter 30.50 SCC, is adopted and is incorporated and made a part of this chapter by reference.
