(1) "Council" means the Snohomish county council.

(2) "Executive" means the Snohomish county executive.

(3) "County human resources system" means those statements of policy and procedure contained in Title 3A SCC or its successor, and in executive orders, policies, rules and procedures, and training.

(4) "Exempt employee system" means the conditions of employment for personnel exempt from the county human resources system as specified by chapter 3.68 SCC, and amendments.

(5) "Department" means the Snohomish county human resources department.

(6) "Director" means the director of the department of human resources or his/her designee. (Added by Ord. 82-074 § 1, Aug. 11, 1982; Amended by Ord. 85-097, Sept. 25, 1985; Amended by Ord. 94-050 § 1, July 6, 1994).
