The developmental disabilities advisory board shall consist of a maximum of 15 members, at least one from each council district. Board members shall be appointed by the county council. At least five members shall be persons with developmental disabilities or family members of persons with developmental disabilities. The remainder of board members shall be persons who are knowledgeable of or interested in community support for individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.
