The community services advisory council shall consist of at least 12 and not more than 24 members. Membership will be constituted to ensure that (1) one-third of the members are elected public officials, currently holding office, or their representatives except that if the number of elected officials reasonably available and willing to serve is less than one-third, appointed public officials may be substituted; (2) at least one-third of the members are persons chosen in accordance with democratic selection procedures adequate to ensure that they are representative of the poor; and (3) the remainder of the members are officials or members of business, industry, labor, religion, welfare, education, or other major groups and interests. The membership shall be representative of each Snohomish county council legislative district with at least two members from each. (Added by Ord. 86-076 § 3, Aug. 6, 1986).
