The director and county chief information officer shall be appointed by the executive with the advice and consent of a majority of the council. The director shall serve at the pleasure of the executive and shall be subject to the county exempt personnel system. The executive shall at least annually solicit comments from other department directors and agency elected officials regarding the director’s performance, which comments shall be summarized and addressed in the executive’s annual evaluation of the director under SCC 3.69.040.
