The chief of the corrections bureau is in charge of all adult correctional institutions and programs of the county, and all persons confined therein or those subject to such programs. The chief will manage, operate and control such institutions and programs in compliance with all applicable laws, rules and regulations, including keeping of a jail register as required by RCW 70.48.100. The chief shall operate the facilities in compliance with the operating standards contained in Title 5, SCC.
