The personnel hearings examiner shall be appointed on the basis of qualifications to perform the duties of personnel hearings examiner. Qualifications for the position shall include experience in labor and personnel matters and training with regard to evidentiary and other legal issues pertinent to the conduct of quasi-judicial proceedings. The personnel hearing examiner shall hold no other elective or appointive office or position in county government. (Added by Ord. 97-089 § 5, Oct. 8, 1997, Eff date Oct. 19, 1997).
