Reduced temporary speed limits for special conditions, such as where there is construction on or near a county road, may be set by the county engineer, provided these locations are posted with signs in accordance with the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices adopted in SCC 11.24.010. Such temporary speed limits may reduce the posted speed limit by more than 10 miles per hour.
