10.14.020 Authorized disposition methods.

On at least an annual basis, and unless otherwise required, authorized or prohibited by state or federal law, the Sheriff shall dispose of each inventoried firearm that has been forfeited by:
(1) retaining the firearm solely for agency use;
(2) destroying the firearm;
(3) firearms illegal for any person to possess must be destroyed. (Added by Ord. 99-024 § 1, May 5, 1999, Eff date May 20, 1999).
